Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-07-25. These terms are an agreement between you and Targa-Praetorian ("Targa", "we", "us") governing your use of the Targa dashboard, the @TargaM1Bot Telegram bot, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or adding the bot to a group you administer, you agree to them.

The service

Targa provides anti-spam protection for Telegram groups: Targa M1, the always-on classical detection layer, and this dashboard for configuring protection and viewing stats. Targa M1 is free for every group — no card required, nothing in it gated by payment. Paid products that add AI-grade detection (such as Targa M2) may be offered separately when available.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

Acceptable use

Connect only groups you administer, and use the Service only in ways that comply with applicable law and Telegram's Terms of Service. You may not use Targa to harass or target individuals, attempt to access data for groups or accounts you don't control, probe or disrupt the Service, or resell it without our agreement. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your group, your decisions

Targa acts according to the configuration you set — locks, guardrails, blocklists, enforcement mode. You're responsible for how moderation is applied in your groups, for having the authority to apply it, and for complying with any obligations you have to your members. Every automated action is logged and reversible actions can be undone from the dashboard.

Plans and billing

Targa M1 is free and involves no billing. If you purchase a paid product (such as Targa M2, when available), it is billed per channel through our payment processor, under the price and billing period shown at checkout. You can cancel or downgrade at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We'll give notice before any price change takes effect for you.

Detection accuracy

No anti-spam system is perfect. Targa may miss spam and may occasionally flag a legitimate message; scores and verdicts are automated judgments, not guarantees. Watch-only mode exists so you can evaluate behavior before enforcement, and the activity log shows the reasoning behind every action.

Intellectual property

We own the Service and everything in it except your content. You keep all rights to the configuration and text you provide (rules, welcome messages, notes, patterns) and grant us the license needed to store and apply it to operate the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.

Third-party services

The Service depends on Telegram's platform and APIs, which we don't control. Changes to Telegram, or actions Telegram takes with respect to your group or the bot, may affect the Service, and we're not responsible for them.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it. It's part of these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will catch all spam.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Targa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — including moderation actions taken or not taken in your groups. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnity

If your use of the Service in violation of these terms leads to a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages arising from that claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your groups and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the Service — in the last case we'll give reasonable advance notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the dashboard before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

General

These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the Service.
